IN THE CARE OF
Schoedinger Norris Grove City
Shonda Lynn Fletcher, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on January 18, 2023 at the age of 61. Born in Columbus to the late George Bowman and Sharon (née McIntyre) Bowman, Shonda was a shining light in the lives of those around her.
Shonda had a passion for gardening and was known for her beautiful flower beds. She was a devoted animal lover and spent countless hours caring for her beloved pet beagles and cats. Her kind and selfless nature was evident in her constant desire to put others first and make them laugh. A sports enthusiast, Shonda enjoyed watching all sports (except hockey!).
Family was everything to Shonda, and she loved her husband Bill with all her heart. They were married for 43 loving years, and many of their first dates were spent on the creek side fishing. Shonda was a devoted mother to her son Billy (Lori) and cherished her role as a grandmother to her grandchildren, whom she loved to spoil: Brycen, Bentley, Brayden, Laci, and Lilianna.
Shonda is survived by her mother Sharon Bowman, brother Bruce (Pam) Bowman, sister Mary Patterson, and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Shonda's family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 25th from 4-7 PM at Schoedinger Grove City (4242 Hoover Rd, Hoover Rd at Kingston Ave) where her funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday. Interment at Sunset Cemetery.
