Joanne C. Rochnowski, passed away on March 27th, 2021, at her home in Waukegan, Illinois. Joanne was born on February 21, 1929, in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Alois and Cecelia Rochnowski. Joanne and her family moved to Waukegan and she became a proud graduate of St. Anastasia Grade School and Holy Child High School. She earned a college degree from Mundelein College and became a superior draftswoman for Kleinsmitts and Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her dear brother, Leo. Joanne was a strong, and God fearing woman who attended St. Anastasia Masses daily. She was an active volunteer and patron of many charities. She loved all animals, but especially her late faithful dog, Roosevelt. In lieu of gifts or flowers, donations can be made to Save a Pet, 31664 N Fairfield Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Anastasia Church on Wednesday, March 31st at 11 AM. A short celebration of her life will be held at St. Anastasia Church from 10:30-11 AM, before the start of her funeral Mass. Burial will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
