Marian Gubar, age 91, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023. Marian was the youngest of 3 children, raised in Newark, NJ by parents Harry and Lena Frisch. She graduated from Weequahic High School and Douglass College. Her beloved husband, Nathaniel Gubar, predeceased her in 1976. She is remembered with adoration as a strong loving matriarch by her children, Michelle and Martin Gubar, their spouses, Leslie Lindenstraus and Rebecca Rhodes, and her grandchildren, Jessica and Aaron Lindenstraus, and Rachel and Sari Gubar.
A private funeral will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Institute for Cancer Research, the Alzheimer's Association or a cause dear to their hearts.
