Shari,

Your mom was like a sister to me! We shared so many great times and silly ones too! I fondly remember the afternoons at Mirror Lake, especially when your mom and I (with two other women) would sit and play mah jong all day.

I felt so bad when your dad passed as I was in Mn. and couldn't console your Mom! I can't express what she meant to me! She was like another sister and her daughters were my nieces.

Shari, I sincerely wish I could be there to comfort you. You know that I love you! My heart is with you even though my body is in MN!

I love you

Marcia

I was saddened to learn of Rhoda's passing. I am now remembering her life and our days together starting more than 70 years ago.

Seymour and I loved when Rhoda, who was 10 years younger than us, would follow us around when we were in our early 20s. She was always tagging along and we so enjoyed her. She would come to Jones Beach and so many other places with us; we always loved having her with us.

We would then visit with Rhoda and Celia and all the family--they were always, always welcoming to us and all. I told my nephew Alan Meyerhoff yesterday about Rhoda's death and he shared similar memories. He would join us on visits to New Jersey and we both recalled family visits with boats and crab fishing and fun and family.

I also have always remembered when Rhoda shared with us her wedding photo--she was so very beautiful and I can see her now in my mind's eye. And I must mention that we were always so impressed with how artistic Rhoda was--she made a beautiful handcrafted blue chess set for Seymour, one he always treasured.

I will miss her. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

Shari
My Deepest Sympathy on the loss of your mom . It has been a challenging year for you . Your mom was always so kind to me . I know she probably thought I was your bodyguard and felt relaxed whenever I picked you up . Always stay as sweet and cheerful like that little tiny girl you were at 17 . You were always full of life and a great friend.

Mrs. Wasserman was the sweetest mom and always had her arms open when I walked in the house with Shari. Always, always she had Shari and I laughing and cracking up...she was one of us for those moments (one of us girls). To this day I recall the reading of the tea leaves and never will that not bring a smile to my face. Loss is difficult, but I hope to leave people smiling and laughing one day with great memories just like Mrs. Wasserman did for me. Condolences to dear Shari ❤

My photo albums are filled with photos of her smiling face. When she hugged you, you felt her love. she had a way of making people around her feel special . My family adored her ❤️ Now she is with Richie dancing somewhere watching over the people she cherished .
