Dear Ellen & Lanie
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of my friend Bob. I always looked forward to our meetings of our local TIA group were I could count on Bob to share some wisdom and humor.

You will be remembered in our prayers.

Dear Ellen, Lanie, and family,

Joan and I are so very sorry to hear about Bob’s passing. I can’t imagine the pain you are both feeling and want you to know you’re in our thoughts and prayers.

As you remember him during this difficult time I will share a memory of Bob. Besides being a great guy, with a quick wit and unmatched sense of humor, he was also a positive influence on me as I was beginning my career in this crazy freight business. I remember one night in my 20s we shared an unexpected drink together at a TIA conference. We both went to the bar thinking it would be empty so we could each get a brief respite from the convention frenzy. I was just as surprised to see him as he was to see me. Anyway, we sat and talked just the two of us, all about the business and its trials and tribulations. He had a knack for un complicating the complicated which I will never forget, and always strive to do. It was a conversation that I still think about all the time in present day. I just wanted to share that with you.

Again, so very sorry for your loss and please accept our deepest condolences.
