Mr & Mrs Perl were neighbors of my son, DIL & grandkids. They were always so kind. I treasured the note from Mrs Perl I received when my mother passed. So thoughtful. They always remembered my grandkids' birthdays and were most helpful when I babysat the kids.
May her memory be a blessing.

We were so saddened to hear about the loss of Mrs. Perl. Susanne and Otto were dear neighbors of ours and treated our kids like their own grandchildren. Both Susanne and Otto were such lovely people, always offering us a smile and a kind word. We couldn't have asked for nicer neighbors. May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Susanne (and her dear husband Otto) were wonderful neighbors, friends and examples of grace and perseverance. We'll always cherish their friendship and good memories. We'll miss her.

We heard the news of Susan's passing on the saddest day of the Jewish calendar, TishaB'Av. How fitting....
Having enjoyed a warm, close relationship with both Susan and Otto across the years, this is a real loss, the end of an era. This unique and gracious lady epitomized survival and resilience, dignity and fierce independence. She was a devoted, loyal and proud family matriarch, and her friendship enriched our lives.
Our hearts go out to her dear family. May she be a worthy advocate for their living long, safe, healthy and meaningful lives.
We share in your sadness.
We are honored to have shared part of her journey with her, and to have called her our friend.
With love,
Rita-Rivka, Abe and family -

I grew up across the street from Susan, and she treated me like a grandchild. Even though we weren't related by blood I received money every time that I lost a tooth. She and Otto of blessed memory bought me a suit for my Bar-Mitzvah. The news of her passing saddens me greatly and may her family be comforted amongst the mourners of Zion.
