Betty, after reading what everyone has to say about you and thinking about you the first thing I always remember about you is your smile you always had a hello and a smile for me at every family function we went to. I will miss that about you. I am so Sorry that Bert, Amy and Christopher will not have you around but I hope that all their memories will help along the way because I know that they would only be good ones of you. You were such a wonderful person and I know Im better for knowing you.

Bert, Amy and Christopher,
Betty was my best friend since we were 2 years old, through school, marriage and all the ups and downs of life. I will miss her more than words can say and I am so sorry for your loss and offer my deepest condolences to you. She was one of a kind with the smile and that wry wit.

Amy and Family,
I was shocked to hear of your Mother's illness and her passing just before Christmas. I have many good memories of the times we spent together when they visited here in Des Moines. Even though we have lost touch, I think of you often. Please accept my sincere sympathy to you and your family in the very sad loss of your Mother. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
