OBITUARY
Marion Clair Deluca
April 19, 1936 – April 17, 2017
Deluca, Marion Clair (Johnston) – 80 passed away in the Halifax Infirmary on April 17, 2017, after a prolonged illness.
She was the daughter of the late Margaret (Johnston) Kavanaugh and Reginald Johnston.
Marion was a perfect example of a “Navy wife” to Robert and her family, always rising to meet every challenge while having fun. She was very sociable, even famous, for her hospitality with lunches and dinners. She loved to party with everyone. Camping with her children was a highlight, as was travelling when they were older.
She is survived by Robert, her husband of 57 years; daughter, Catherine Deluca, Cheryl (Steve) Masters, Diane Deluca. Grandchildren, Maxim and Nicole Langlais and Alexander Masters; sister, Joann (Doug) Scott and sister-in-law, Doreen Johnston as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Marion is predeceased by her step father, William Kavanaugh; brothers, Joseph, Michael, Harold; sister, Barbara and Donnell.
Visitation for Marion will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax. A memorial service will held on April 24, 2017, at 10 a.m., also at Snow’s Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or charity of your choice. The family would like to thank all those who cared for and supported Marion, particularly the Red Cross girls, staff at V.G. site 4.B and Infirmary site 8.1.

Very Sorry, Bob, to read this in the paper. Marion was so much fun. We were both in the hot pool at Rehab. Centre and we had many laughs. I liked her so much. My condolences to you Bob, and your family.
