Christopher James Hartke

Christopher James Hartke, age 61, of Liberty Township, Ohio, passed away Monday, September 25, 2023. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 13, 1961 to the union of Maurice E. Hartke and Barbara L. Heger. Chris was a loving, kind, generous individual who went out of his way to make others feel special. He cherished the love of his life, Terry, having been together since the age of 17. He enjoyed classic rock and concerts, nice cars, and all Cincinnati sports, especially UC Bearcats. He was best described as being “honest to the T” and “full of life”.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Rick Hartke; fur babies “Bojangles” and “Roxie”.

Chris is survived by his wife, Terry; son, Justin; brother, Steven (Robin); sister, Kim Kent (Scot Zahn); mother-in-law, Dottie Korn; sisters-in-law, Rita Glardon (Paul) and Kim Hartke (Rick’s wife); nieces, Jillian, Kaitlin, Crystal, Nicole, and Stephanie; nephews, Jeremy and Cody; fur babies, “Cici” and “Amaya”; a host of other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, Ohio 45011 beginning at 5:00pm until time of services beginning at 7:00pm. Graveside services will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, Ohio 45011 on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 beginning at 11:00am.
