JoAnn Topmiller

She was born on April 4, 1930 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Arthur Schwab and Mildred Louise (Buell) Ranke. JoAnn graduated from Hamilton High School. She married Dr. Donald A. Topmiller on June 10, 1950 in Hamilton and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2012. JoAnn worked as a secretary at Wright State University for 17 years. She is survived by her children, Steven (Beth) Topmiller and Gregory (Dr. Marjorie Gwynn) Topmiller; grandchildren, Grantland, Alexander, Eric, and Andrew; siblings, Charles (Jimmie) Ranke, Ruth (Peter) Spada, Lois (Alvin) Weaver, Arthur (Reba) Ranke, and Barbara (Robert) Schoenfeld. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters, Helen and Betty. Visitation will be held from 4pm until 4:30pm on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Funeral service will be held at 4:30pm on Saturday at the funeral home with Chaplain Jim Faas officiating. Interment will be held at 11am on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in Rose Hill Burial Park.
