June E. Thomas age 55 passed away on Monday August 24, 2015. She was born April 15, 1960 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of Arnold and the late Sondra (Skelton) Abbott. June graduated from Miami University with a bachelor's degree in nursing. June was a Registered Nurse who worked at multiple nursing facilities around the area but spent most of her career as a home health nurse. She spent many wonderful years being a loving nurse, mother, wife and daughter. On June 6, 1988 in Hamilton she married the love of her life Rondal Thomas. June is survived by her husband of 27 years Rondal Thomas; her father Arnold (Ann) Abbott; her children Rocky (Dana) Abbott, Leah Thomas, Veronica Thomas and Cody Thomas; grandchildren Rocky Abbott Jr. and Elisa Abbott; sisters Julie Peterson and Frieda Abbott-Hopper. She also leaves behind numerous other family, close friends, an amazing niece Christina Justice-Tipton and lifelong friends Ginny Justice and Leah Harding. June was preceded in death by her sister Kim Sunderhaus and brother Hayden Abbott. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday August 29, 2015 at 10:00AM with Chaplain Steve Tufts officiating.
