Brad and I, Laura Kellam, had a few opportunities to meet and visit Joe while visiting family in Crockett,Tx. Although we didn't know enough about his life , it was nice to have met him. Our family members and family history get lost in the shuffle of life , and in death do we find out who that person truly was. If only I could have spent more time to learn about the life he lived. I'm sorry I didn't have that opportunity. We send our condolances to you and yours.

Joe will be greatly missed. In his earlier years we were separated by miles but when he moved back to Texas our visits were more frequent. Family and Family history was very important to him and I hope that his family will continue to champion these causes.
