She had been a resident of Newport News since 1951 and employed at Coats and Clark for over 20 years.
Nora is survived by her sister, Edna Forest; her daughter, Patsy Turner; two sons, Allen Duncan and wife, Sherry, and James Bryant and wife, Jerry; seven grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren.
A service celebrating Nora's life will be held on Thursday, June 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home.
