Alan leaves his devoted wife Linda of 41 years, who was his best friend. He was a loving father to his son Thomas and wife MacKenzie of Sarasota, FL; and his daughter Lauren and husband Michael of Hanover, MA. He was a dedicated Papa to Aiden, Bobby, and Vance, who were the light of his life.
He was an avid car and motorcycle fanatic, owning several classic cars and Harley Davidsons. He was a member of the Hyde Park Harley Riders and the South Shore Street Rods.
More recently, he was an active member and former Vice President of the Weymouth Eagles, where he volunteered endless hours in support of the organization.
Alan was a bright light in the world. He was a wonderful husband and a grandfather who dedicated his time and energy in support of his family. He was a caring son-in-law to Elizabeth Amyouny, a loving brother-in-law and uncle. His kindness knew no bounds.
He was intelligent with a wicked sense of humor. Words cannot describe the sense of loss his world will experience. Judging by the outpouring of love and support, we are certain Alan will be missed by everyone who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Alan’s name to The Fraternal Order of Eagles, AEIRE 2899 Scholarship Fund, 1338 Washington Street, Weymouth, MA 02189.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 16th, from 4-8pm at the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington Street, Route 53, Hanover. Burial will be private.
