Mary Jane Kaniza

Mary J. Kaniza, 86, of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Manor Care, Camp Hill. She was born January 24, 1933, in Mt. Carmel, PA; she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Prosanick) Kaniza. Mary is survived by her brother, Martin Kaniza, of New York. Mary was a retired operator for Bell of PA and worked at Walmart after her retirement and she was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, were she worked in the parish office for years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 25, 2019 in St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg, PA 17111.
