
Lower Paxton Township resident A. Michael Coleman passed away December 8, 2012 at the age of 64 after a horrific battle with brain cancer and blood clots.
Mr. Coleman was a resident of New York City and the youngest of 3 children, produced by the marriage of Alfred Coleman, Sr. and Rose Posgay. He also has a half a sister.
Mr. Coleman was also an active railroad preservationist, responsible for the restoration of museum quality artifacts and several tourist railroads including; the High Iron Company, Conway Scenic Railway, Cape Cod, and Hianis Scenic Railway, The American Freedom Train and Sante Fe Southern.
Mr. Coleman also produced several professional productions in partnership with Revelation Audio Visual Videos. Rail-fan Magazine honored Mr. Coleman with featured article in the July 1972 issue.
Well-wishers and benefactors are requested to support railway preservation projects as designated by the National Railway Historical Society for which Mr. Coleman has been a member since the early 1960's.
