Anne G. Miller

Anne Gruber Miller, wife of Robert L. Miller, 70, of Williamsport, passed in her home after a long illness, on August 1, 2012. Anne was born October 3, 1942 in Rome, NY. She was the daughter of late Martin and Amy Louise Gruber.

Anne attended the Rome Free Academy, Class of 1960. Anne was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Williamsport, PA Guild of Craftsman- Williamsport Chapter and a volunteer for Williamsport High School's Band Boosters. She enjoyed crafts and tole painting. In addition, Anne worked for the Williamsport National Bank (Susquehanna) for 19 years.

Additional survivors include; her daughter, Jill Anne Shuman and husband Matthew of Williamsport; grandchildren, Andrew and Lesley; sister, Cindy Silvers and husband John of Loveland, CO; brothers, Martin and wife Nicoletta of Surfside, SC, John and wife Linda of Rome, NY, Jeffery and wife Alicia of Centerbury, OH, along with several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church at 142 Market Street, Williamsport, PA, on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be welcomed by St. Mark's Lutheran Church, especially its Stephen Ministry program.
