Barbara A. Kofalt-Sheaffer, 84, of Harrisburg, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021, in the home of her daughter.

Born March 19, 1937, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Chester M. and Catherine A. (Zcurich) Fritz; and preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Kofalt.

Surviving is her husband of 30 years, Charles D. Sheaffer; daughter, Kay Faber (Doug); two sons, Anthony Kofalt and Michael Kofalt; stepdaughter, Bonnie Sakash (Mark); stepson, David Sheaffer (Michelle); 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Barbara was a retired employee for J.C. Penney Department Store; a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, the Verhovay Home Association, and an avid Notre Dame fan.

Barbara was loved and will be missed by her family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 4, 2021, in St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be from 10:00 AM, Wednesday, until the time of the service at the church.
