Brandon Scott Merritts

Brandon is survived by his Fiancé, Danielle Miller; his beautiful daughters, Halston, Leighton and their unborn daughter who will arrive in October 2025; his parents, Scott and Lori Merritts; his siblings, Taylor Merritts and her fiancé Aaron Spahr, Justin Merritts and his girlfriend Kat Hixenbaugh; his Grandparents, Robert and Sandy Knawby; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; James and Connie Merritts, and his uncles; Tom and Tim Merritts.

Brandon was born on March 10, 1993. He celebrated his special day along side of his mother, sharing birthdays. Brandon was a well known resident and business man of Mechanicsburg, PA. Brandon was a 2011 graduate from Mechanicsburg High School where he also specialized in carpentry through a Votech program. His first business; BSM Landscaping & Tree Service started in 2011. He was a brilliant entrepreneur and started 3 other businesses in his short amount of time here on earth, Camp Hill Forest Products, Harrisburg Landscaping Supplies and Merritts Properties LLC. Brandon’s strong work ethic and drive to succeed is unmatched. He was a big inspiration to many.

Brandon was a devoted father and fiancé. His growing family was the center of his world. He was the kind of man who would help you without wanting anything in return. His love for side by side rides around his farm was something he enjoyed the most after a long days work with his family. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed all things outdoors; fishing, boating, 4 wheeling and riding his Harley for wind therapy. He had a love for hot wings and a Sunday Funday orange crush. His big, beautiful smile lit up the room as he walked in and that will never be forgotten. Brandon will be deeply missed by his family, friends, community and all who knew him.

His legacy will live on through his businesses and children.

A celebration of life will happen in the near future and a memorial tree will be planted on his farm in remembrance of him.
