Carol Bryner

Born on December 21, 1946 in Fayette Township, Juniata County, she is the daughter to the late Jay and Jesse (Strawser) Kennedy.

On August 15, 1964, she married her late husband Thomas E. Bryner, with whom she was blessed to share over 56 years of marriage before his passing on December 20, 2020.

She is survived by her children, Jaylene Bowers and her husband Blake of Grantville and Michael Bryner and his wife Michelle of Harrisburg: grandsons Charles Blosser IV, Christian Blosser, Colton Bryner, and Logan Bryner: sisters Helen Reichert of Millersburg, Mary Chepel of Harrisburg: and brother Allen Kennedy of Lancaster.

Carol was a 1964 graduate of East Juniata High School in McAlisterville.

Carol was a loving and devoted wife, mother, Gram, sister and friend, always putting others before herself. She was a member and attended the Thompsontown Baptist Church. She enjoyed hosting and cooking for family, friends, church functions and being called to serve with Southern Baptist Disaster Relief. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and watching her four handsome grandsons grow into young men.

A visitation for Tom and Carol Bryner will be held from 11 AM to Noon, Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Thompsontown Baptist Church, 269 Birch Drive, Thompsontown. A Memorial Service will follow with Pastor Don Henrikson officiating.
