Born May 1, 1941, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Fitting.
She retired from Metrocall and she was a 1974 graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor's Degree in social science. She was an avid reader, loved gardening, Japanese Maple trees, and the outdoors.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, John P. White, Jr.; children, John P. White III of Lewisberry; Lori Marie Ferree of York Haven; Michelle Lee Collins of Etters; and Elizabeth Ann Soper of Las Cruces, NM; grandchildren, Kristy Smith, Julie Anne Forry, Abby Renee Robinson, and Lacey Ann Markel; 2 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Crosson of York Haven.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
