Charlie E Hockenbocht, 92, originally of Sunbury, PA passed away peacefully at the home of family in Mifflinburg, PA on Sept 11, 2024. He was born on Sept 6, 1932 according to his parents Russell H Hockenbrocht and M. Catherine Hockenbrocht. His birth certificate records Sept 8, 1932. He lived life to the fullest while able and was loved by many. He served 8 years in the US Navy and was barber for many in years in Norfolk, VA and in Danville, PA. Charlie loved to ride motorcyle when younger and also to buy and sell collectibles and records. He lived at Staymen House Apartments in Shamokin Dam, PA for 19 years until the last few months where he had :seniority” for living there the longest at the time. He is survived by 1 daughter, Janice Helton, 2 siblings, George Hockenbrocht and Patricia Hockenbrocht, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 children, Edward C Hockenbrocht and Louise (Hockenbrocht) Ledbetter and 2 siblings Elsie (Hockenbrocht) Bills and Joyce (Hockenbrocht) Gass.
