Chryl Ann Brannen

Born January 6, 1956, in Harrisburg, she was daughter of the late William H. and Georgette S. (Ulrich) Eslinger.

Chryl was a 1975 graduate of Dauphin Co. Technical School’s program for textile and apparel arts and was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the Capital Area Student Craftsman’s Fair. After High School, she worked as a seamstress at the Dauphin Co. Dress Factory. Later she was the manager at Classic Drycleaners. Most recently she was the lead in training for management with the Carry Out Dept. at Giant Foods. Chryl was a very talented seamstress and enjoyed making clothes for her family and following special family traditions, baking and taking family trips. A big kid at heart, she loved goofing around with family and friends and adored her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving are 2 loving daughters, Dawn Funk and Brandy Brannen; 7 grandchildren, Keirsten, Kaley, Ashlyn, Alayna, Ayden, Gavin and Ethan; a brother, Chris; 3 sisters, Cindy, Cathy, and Candy; her very close friend and father of her daughters, Mike; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 12, 2015, 12 Noon, at Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109. Viewing will be from 11:00 a.m. until Noon at the funeral home.
