Daniel Forie Zook

Daniel is preceded in death by his wife, Vincenza (DeAngelis); sister, Patience Bicknell of Olathe, Kansas; and parents, Daniel F. and Dorothy M. (Linton) Zook.

Surviving Daniel are his sister, Pat and husband Joe Davis, niece, Martha and husband Donald Stafos and their daughter Amber all of St. Louis, MO; sister-in-law, Louise Thomas, niece, Janet, and nephew, Frank Thomas all of Gettysburg; and nephew Dan Bicknell and wife Dawn and family of Minnetonka, MN; niece, Sara Petz and husband Merle and family of Kansas City; and niece, Amy Petrovich and husband Justin and family of Carlanville, IL.

Dan was an artist and woodworker that originally came to Gettysburg to do art restoration on the Cyclorama. He also did restoration work to the Dome of the Old Courthouse in St. Louis, MO. Dan loved gardening and growing fruit trees. He worked for many years for PennDot. No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Green Acres Nursing Home, 595 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325. Arrangements by Auer Cremation Services of PA, Inc.
