David Henry Warfield

David Henry Warfield, 60, of Linglestown, PA, passed peacefully but unexpectedly at PHS Osteopathic Hospital on Monday, March 27, 2017. He was born in Harrisburg on June 28, 1956, the son of the late Henry J. & Lois E. (Hand) Warfield. He graduated from Capital Area Intermediate Unit, attended Grayson View Adult Day Center for many years & was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church.

David is survived by his devoted sisters, Elizabeth Urich (Carl), Jody Saxton (Al), & Janet Warren (Mark); his loving nieces, Cindi Latin, Kristin Mellott (Tim), Lindsey Warfield, Ashley Snyder (Ryan); great-nephews, Joshua & Justin Latin; great-niece, Faith Mellott; his best friend & caregiver, David Harrington; along with his housemates, Sharon, Stephanie & Hank. The family wishes to thank all the many wonderful staff and caregivers who supported David throughout the years. His beautiful blue eyes & infectious smile will be forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017, 2:00PM, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 1100 Colonial Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112, Pastor Patrick Wirick officiating. Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made in his honor to his church, addressed above; or to Molly’s Place Rescue, 5220 East Trindle Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
