Dawn was born on September 23, 1939 to the late John T. and Erma E. Snyder formally of Goldsboro, PA.
She is survived by her Sister, Carol Snyder Bruno of West End, NC and her Brother, Lowell T. Snyder of Killeen, TX and her three children, Irene Bennett of West End, NC; Annette Harkins of York, PA and Russell Harkins, III, of York, PA, and two grandsons: John and Russell, IV.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Russell Harkins; her Brother, Ted O. Snyder, and her Sister, Henrietta Snyder Kaiser.
Dawn will be remembered as a person who loved her family and for her infectious laugh.
There will be a celebration of life held with the family at the homestead of our ancestors in Dornsife, PA. Her cousin, the Rev. Burlington B. Latshaw, III, will conduct the service during the family reunion in June 2025.
