Dock E. Sloan

Born April 6, 1950, in York Spring, Pennsylvania. Son of Louise Fleshman and William Sloan

Attended School in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

24 years of active military service with one tour in Vietnam as a Marine. Rest of time in the Army and retired as Sargent First Class in 1992.

Then worked for Wine and Sprit Shops of Pennsylvania and retired from there in 2004.

Past time as an avid hunter, playing golf and RV camping and traveling around the country.

Spent the past six years in Hanover Pennsylvania.

Married Lorna Benson November 26, 1976.

Survived by wife Lorna Sloan, Son William R. Sloan of Hanover Pennsylvania, Granddaughter Ava N. Sloan of Hanover Pennsylvania, Sisters Vickie Sloan Anderson of Hanover, Pennsylvania, Mary A. Myers of East Berlin, Pennsylvania, and a Brother Mervin Sloan of Reading Pennsylvania and two estranged sons.

Ashes will be placed in the Benson Family Cemetery, Eldred, Pennsylvania.
