Donald Lee Lay

Don is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Nancy (Oliver); sisters Donna Morrison (Grant) and Terri Baxter (partner Calvin Bard); brothers Dan and Tim (Tracy); nieces Rebekah, Jennifer, Miranda, Ami and Kinsley; nephews Derek, Brett and Nathan; and his beloved Aunt Doris Stewart. Included among family are Don’s much-loved friends, Seth Maurer, a longtime almost-son; Seth’s wife, Christina Fortin-Maurer; and their daughter, Veronica.

Formerly Executive Vice-President of H.B. McClure, Don also was an active member and served on the board of Associated Builders and Contractors.

When he wasn’t working, Don enjoyed spending time in Ocean City and Crisfield, MD, hunting, fishing, boating and golfing with his three brothers-in-law, Billy, Johnny and Danny Oliver. He also loved his boat and cabin at Raystown Lake, and he was an avid water and snow skier.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
