Donald E. Pardoe

Donald E. Pardoe, Jr. of Mechanicsburg went to be with his beloved wife on November 23, 2016, two days after his 83rd birthday. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Donald E. and Elizabeth K. (Schwechtje) Pardoe, Sr.

Don proudly served in the United States Navy, aboard the USS Columbus (CA-74). He retired from Roadway Express and later enjoyed working part time at the Giant in Dillsburg. He enjoyed photography, bowling, boating and especially traveling. Many memories were made when the entire family took family vacations together.

Don was preceded in death by his wife Mary (Witmer) Pardoe and survived by three children, Teresa (Scott) Smith, Kimberly Flicker, and Jeffrey Pardoe; six grandchildren, Aaron and Amanda Smith, Molly and Mary Flicker, Kyle and Lindsay Pardoe; 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Germer.

He will be laid to rest alongside his wife at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Graveside services will be held December 2, 2016 at 10:00 with full military honors.
