Earnest R. Hancock
April 27, 1953 – May 15, 2025
Earnest R Hancock, Jr, age 72, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on May 15, 2025 at 10:07am. Born in Chambersburg PA, in 1953, son of Margaret Rhone and Earnest R Hancock Sr.
Ernie was a lifelong member of the Eagles Club in Carlisle and White Circle Club. Ernie worked at Steel Building Erectors in Carlisle, PA. He liked riding his trike and enjoyed wood carving and making jewelry.
Surviving are: brothers Robert F Hancock, Charles R Hancock, Richard C Hancock and Marlin Hancock; sisters Debra Bonanni and Connie Lacate; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brother Michael Lee Hancock and sister Mary Jane (Sue) Burkett.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shippensburg Rehab and Health Care Center.
