
Born in Sangerfield, NY on December 30, 1923, she was daughter of the late Edward J. and Clara (Jackson) Manion.
Edna graduated from Syracuse University School of Nursing. After her nursing career, Edna worked for Pennsylvania Blue Shield. She and her husband Don owned and operated Target Beauty and Barber Supply in 2nd St. in Harrisburg. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg, PA.
In addition to her loving husband and parents, Edna was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald E. and Marlan B. Manion; and son-in-law, James R. Rogers.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Donne (Murphy) Rogers, Diane (Murphy) Mader and her husband Craig, all of Mechanicsburg; beloved grandchildren, James (J.D.) Rogers, Kelly M. Mader and boyfriend Blake Schonour, and Kerry M. Mader; and many beautiful nieces, nephews, and their children.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service Saturday, April 13, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 400 E Simpson St., Mechanicsburg, PA
