Edward Mark Martin

He was in the first graduating class of Cedar Cliff High School, 1960. Edward was a Navy Veteran from 1960-1963 who served in a sonar capacity which led to a communication career. He was a systems technician for many communication companies. He was also co-owner of Ed Don Mar Shelties Boarding Kennel. Edward was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers, past President and life member of Harrisburg Shetland Sheepdog Club, board member of Harrisburg Kennel Club and a member of William S. Snyder Lodge No. 756.

Edward enjoyed fishing and hunting every chance he got and he also showed Shetland Sheepdogs in both breed and obedience categories. He attained many titles in obedience trials, as well as Champion Shelties, including his beloved champion, Gabriel.

His father, Alfred L. Martin, preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Donna B. Martin of York Haven; and his mother, Margaret M. Martin of the Masonic Home, Elizabethtown.
