Elizabeth "Bette" Shively

Born June 29, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Ernest W. and Mary (Kane) Martin.

Bette was a retired bookkeeper for Myer Brothers Dept. Stores in Paterson and Wayne N.J. She was co- owner of Ivy House LTD Antique Shop, Mechanicsburg, with her daughter Christine.

Bette loved the ocean, gardening, and cooking. She was an avid reader and devotee of the NY Times crossword. Her special loves were her Miniature Yorkie and her Siamese Cat.

Surviving are her daughter, Christine Gromlowicz of Lewisberry; son, Fred Shively and wife Arpi, Malaga, Spain; grandchildren, Michelle Shively Harris of Huddersfield,UK, Cary Gromlowicz Brooks, Mechanicsburg, and Lauren Gromlowicz Stevens of Etters.

In addition to her parents, Bette was predeceased by her brother, William Martin.

Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
