Elyse Juanita Wiggins

She received her formal education in the Steelton Highspire School District. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, where she served on the gospel choir, and was a missionary.

Elyse enjoyed being the center of attention, liked making heads turn and took pride in the way she looked. She loved being around her family and friends, going to events and having a good time. She enjoyed cooking and baking cookies for her grandchildren.

On April 22, 2011, Elyse departed from this life at the age of 70. She leaves to cherish her memory, her three grandchildren, Chante Johnson, Machel and Tyrone Broadnax and Austin Johnson; great-grandchildren, Ariel, Amir, Adaiah, Dominic, Aiyauna, Malay and Laylah. She will also be missed by her two sisters, Romaine Payne and Margaretta Allen.

Services will be held at Bridge of Faith Ministries, 4425 Chambers Hill Road, Monday, May 2, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. Any monetary donations to the family may be sent to Auer Cremation Services of Pennsylvania, 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
