Ethel D. Baughman

Betty is survived by her daughter, Cindy (David) Johns of Ulysses, PA; son, Sam of Monrovia, MD; grandchildren, Mark Johns, Leigh Ann (Jim) DeGirolano of Newark, DE, Matthew (Michelle) Baughman of Union Bridge, MD, Stacie (Carlos) Hoyos of Frederick, MD, and Amanda Baughman of Monrovia, MD; great-grandchildren, Lewis, Brett and Cody Johns, David and Jimmy DeGirolano, Victoria Nicholson, Tyler Baughman, Maddison and Ava Hoyos, Christian and Lexi Baughman; and great-great grandchildren, Dominic, Savannah and Ashlyn Johns of Newark, DE. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Minnie Dean of Martinsburg; brother-in-law, Dick (Barbara) Baughman of Hollidaysburg, PA; and beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Nancy Mae Dean; and her husband, Glenn, in 1973.

Betty was a devout Christian and life member of the former 1st Presbyterian Church of Williamsburg, PA. She delighted in travel, the Pittsburgh Pirates, Penn State football and following the Williamsburg High School activities. She also enjoyed doing volunteer service, sewing, knitting, cooking and especially time spent with family and friends. She was an avid bridge player.

There will be no service, as she requested, but interment will be at the convenience of her family. Memorials may be sent to The Village at Morrisons Cove, 429 S. Market Street, Martinsburg, PA 16662.
