Evelyn Elizabeth Karl

Evelyn E. Karl, 80, of West Hanover Township, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Hospice Residence “Carolyn’s House”, Harrisburg, PA. Born January 27, 1944, in Harrisburg, PA, she was a wife of the late Francis Karl and a daughter of the late Joseph Brantweiner and Betty Spangler.

Evelyn was a graduate of William Penn High School. She was a housewife and homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and playing cards and board games. She was a great cook, as many can attest to her famous, always requested, potato salad!

Surviving are sons, Jeffrey Karl (wife Robin) and Thomas Karl (partner Mallory); daughters, Michele Bevins (husband Richard) and Angela Corish (husband Jeffrey); grandchildren, Jessica Folkenroth (husband Steven), Anthony Karl, Alexys Karl, Braydan Karl, and Taylar Bevins; and great-granddaughter, Brynley Folkenroth; her sisters Kathy Garr and Wendy Henry (husband Bob); brother-in-law David Karl; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 15, at 11AM, at Resurrection Cemetery, 116 South Oak Grove Road, West Hanover Township, PA.
