Francisca Burgos

Born March 9, 1925 in Santurce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Pablo Rosa & Petrona Rosario Rosa. She had 6 siblings; Tona, Mary, Kino, Lydia, Theresa and Chuito.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan G. Burgos. She moved from Puerto Rico to New York City in her early 20’s. There is where she met her husband Juan. They married in October 20, 1951.

In 1988 they moved from NYC to Harrisburg.

Paquita, as she was known by her family & friends, loved to cook and take care of her family and anyone that walked into her home.

She enjoyed music and had a passion for dancing and would put on a show to those around her.

She loved her nieces & nephews as her own children. Speaking of children, surviving are her daughters; Millie Alicea (and her husband, Jose) Brunie Burgos (and her husband, Ivan) Her Sons; Nelson Burgos, Johnny Burgos Jr., Albert Burgos (and his wife, Rosie) Daniel Burgos (and his wife, Margarita) 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and lots of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and dear friends, all of whom will miss her greatly.
