

Frederick W. Brill, 83, of Lancaster, PA has passed away. Born in Germantown, a section of Phila., on May 31, 1928. A graduate of Onley High School, 1946, Western Maryland College 1950, and Franklin and Marshall College, 1965 where he received a Masters of Chemistry Degree. His first professional job after college was with the Landsdale Tube Co. which made black and white television picture tubes. In 1959 he started working for RCA in Lancaster. He became a Registered Professional Engineer in PA and MD, and he later started his own chemical engineering consulting firm helping industries meet pollution control regulation.
He appeared once on a local TV channel during Engineers Week and was a Lancaster Newspapers Science Fair Judge for many years. He was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lancaster where at different times, he held positions as Property Chairman, Secretary of the Board of Trustees for one term, Chairman of the Organ Committee and currently was a member of the Walters Trust Program Committee.
He was predeceased by his wife of 37 years, Evalyn Rose Brill.
He is survived by his daughters Beth Ellen Brill and Judith Yesha Brill, his son, Todd Eric Brill, and 9 grandchildren.
He will be missed greatly.
