Frederick George Vogt

Born September 24, 1941, he was a son of the late Louis and Lillian (Travis) Vogt.

He was a member of Bridge Church of the Nazarene, the NRA, and CSEA. He was a retired mechanic: Nassau County Police.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald, Louis and James Vogt.

In addition to his wife, Frederick is survived by his children, Fred, Jr., John and Christin and husband Andy Heidingsfelder; grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, Noelle and Jessi Vogt, and Morgan and Arianna Heidingsfelder; sisters, Alma Holler and Evelyn and husband Herb Schaeb; brother, Thomas and wife Donna Vogt; sister-in-law, Eileen Vogt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2014, 7:00 PM, at the Bridge Church of the Nazarene, 1 Norwood Ave, Malverne, NY 11565.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, C/O University Development, P.O. Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033-0852.
