Gail K. Leader Latchford

She was born in Harrisburg, PA on February 14, 1947, the daughter of the late Reuben and Emma (Hoffman) Leader.

Gail was a 1965 graduate of William Penn High School.

After retiring from the PA Dept. of Revenue, she worked as manager for the former Frank’s Bar which became Double D’s Sports Bar in Harrisburg.

Surviving is her son, William E. Latchford (and wife, Jessica L.) of Harrisburg; 2 daughters, Yvonne K. Peters (and husband, William Allen) of New Cumberland and Melinda R. “Mindy” Latchford of Harrisburg; 3 brothers Morris Leader of Mechanicsburg, Charles Leader of Florida and Stanley Leader of Mechanicsburg; 2 sisters, Melissa Adams and Debra Singer, both of Harrisburg; 3 grandchildren, William E. Latchford, II, Damian D. Latchford and Decklin J. Peters.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jan David Leader and sisters, Barbara Stouffer and Joann Kirschner.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17109.

There will be a viewing from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
