Gary David Leaper

Gary David Leaper, 40, of Shermans Dale, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Born May 20, 1985 in Harrisburg, PA. He was the son of the late Charles D. Benner, Sr. and Ruth Leaper. Gary was the companion of Amber McNaughton of New Bloomfield, PA.

Gary was a current employee of Macco in Mechanicsburg. He was very good at his job and loved it. He was also a avid fisherman and hunter. Gary was always so giving to everyone. His laugh and jokes were contagious. He was always the fun one of the bunch. He also loved to cook and shoot pool. Gary was a specialist at gardening if you know what I mean. Most of all he loved spending time tinkering on anything he could get his hands on.

Gary is survived by Ambers 5 children, to which he loved dearly. Skyley L., Christian L., Kaleb L., Hayden L., and (Dino) Donovan L. He is also survived by his (Siblings) James Leaper, Theresa and her husband John Grosser, Mark Benner, Charles Benner, Jr., Bobby Benner and his wife Rita, Heather and her husband Tony Klase. Gary also has many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, too many cousins and friends to count.

Puddin will be remembered always.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 19, 2025 at the New Bloomfield VFW, 71 Soule Road, New Bloomfield, PA 17068 beginning at 12 pm.
