A Celebration of Life will be held on August 15, 2025, at The Booking House, 210 South Penn Street, Manheim, PA. No need to dress up, casual attire is fine. Gary didn’t want anything too sad, so this will be a celebration of a life well lived. It will be from 5 pm – 8 pm. The first hour will be general visitation, anyone who would like to come and hang out. The second hour will be a quick service and anyone who would like to share remembrances or stories. When everyone is done, there will be food and beverages available, and everyone is welcome to continue to share stories.
His ashes will be interred Fall of 2025 at Union Memorial Cemetery, Mench, Bedford County, PA to rest beside his wife. A date has not been set yet.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful people that have been so kind to Gary, and to all of his friends and family, at the Veterans Hospital in Lebanon. Extra thanks and gratitude go to the angels on the Hospice floor. It takes very special souls to do that job with such compassion.
