George served in the Pennsylvania and Indiana National Guard. He was an outside salesman for several auto parts companies throughout his working years.
George was a confirmed "motorhead" who loved motor sports of all kinds. In his younger years, he was an avid participant in drag racing in both cars and boats. He was also a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Ann (Hoover) Kopko, daughter Jayne Kopko, sister Jean (Paul) Shuey, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased, in addition to his parents, by his son George John Kopko Jr.
In accordance with his wishes there will be no services. Donations in his memory, if desired, can be made to the charity of your choice.
