

He was born on October 14, 1936, in Jersey City, New Jersey. He grew up living with his grandparents, Ernest and Anna Falk, in Marshalls Creek, PA.
He graduated from East Stroudsburg High School and proceeded to join the United States Marine Corps. He played both trumpet and cornet throughout school and in the United States Marine Band.
He graduated from the 11th class of the Ross Leffler School of Conservation in 1963 and worked for the Pennsylvania Game Commission until his retirement.
His life was dedicated to working with and enjoying the great outdoors, including hunting, fishing, wildlife rehabilitation, education, law enforcement, and conservation.
He was the widower of Joyce Katherine Rine Wendt, who died July 11, 2011.
He is survived by his daughter, LeeAnn Conrad and her husband Michael A. of Newport; seven step-grandchildren, Emilia Reyes of Harrisburg, Justin Conrad and his wife Kimberly of Duncannon, Juliette Kirkpatrick and her husband Eric of Fort Walton Beach Florida, Ein Conrad and his wife Mercy of Paoli, Michael R. Conrad and his wife Samantha of Millmont, Chase Conrad and his fiancé Lauren Nybeck of Mifflintown, and Abbygail Conrad of Mifflintown; and eleven step-greatgrandchildren.
The Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, is handling arrangements. He will be laid to rest at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the family’s convenience.
