Gregory Stephen Morrison

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory Stephen Morrison “Greg” age 75 of Marysville, Friday, October 25th, 2024. He was born December 4, 1948 in Decatur IL, son of Harold J. and Rosalthe A. Morrison.

Greg graduated from East Pennsboro Senior High School in 1966, attended Penn State University and served in the US Army from 1969-1972. He played softball for Quigley's Restaurant, was a member of the Marysville Lions Club, coached Little League Baseball and was a volunteer and organizer with the Marysville Boy Scouts – pack 56. He loved reading both science fiction and history books and co-authored two science fiction books.

Greg is survived by his wife Patricia G. Morrison “Patti”; his daughter Kristin R. Bloom; his son Robert G. Morrison “Bob”; his grandson Jack L. Bloom; brother’s Thomas A. (wife Marjorie) Morrison, and Timothy I. (wife Elaine) Morrison; and a cousin Brenda (husband Jim) Freeman. He leaves behind seven nieces, and three nephews, a great-nephew, great-niece and several god children that remember him for always playing monster and sneaking them candy.

A private military service for family will be held at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
