
He was preceded in death by wife, Margaret. Also, Harry's parents, Francis Taylor and Nancy (Blanham) Taylor; sisters, Estella and Sarrah; brothers, William, Charles, and Albert. Surviving are sisters, Dorothy Davis (James), Rose Eddins (Clyde) of Latrobe; brother, John Taylor (Paulette) of Ft. Washington, MD.
Harry was drafted into the US Army during WWII. After completing his service in the Army and not able to find work, he re-enlisted but serving in the US Air Force where he retired as a Staff Sergeant. Harry continued his career at Mechanicsburg Defense Depot retiring with 30 years of Federal Service. He then worked for Rohrer Bus Service for 16 years driving school bus.
Harry loved to golf, take his 3 mile walks every morning along the riverfront, travel and gatherings with family, and have lunch daily with friends in the social room at B'Nai B'Rith.
Harry had a host of nephews, nieces, great and great-great nephews and nieces and one Godson, J.R.
Memorial services with Military Honors will be held Monday, August 30, 2010 at 12:30 PM at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with Pastor George Johnson officiating.
