Born on December 29, 1940 in New Milford, Pennsylvania was called home May 24, 2024 to reunite with her husband. Irene was a devoted wife and amazing mother. She spent most of her years in the Harrisburg area where she made her home and cared for her family. Irene is survived by her son William, sister Hazel, along with 9 Grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband Laverne Stepp, Daughters, Karen, Kathy, Brenda and son Robert. Irene will be deeply missed by family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 am at Cremation & Burial Society of Pennsylvania at 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA and laid to rest at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Visitation 10:30 am to 11:30 am at the funeral home.
