James H. Phillips

Born April 5, 1940, in Steubenville, OH son of Jay H. Phillips and Barbara B. Horner.

Jim was a Bible School Graduate of an Assemblies of God College. He was a Teen Challenge faculty member at the NY Center, a former Elder at Cornerstone Fellowship Assembly of God, most recently a member of The Exchange Church, Wormleysburg PA. Jim retired as a plant manager at Hershey Foods Corporation after many faithful years. Jim loved teaching and mentoring people in Prophetic Ministry. Although Jim never fathered his own children, he was a spiritual father to many people in many locations.

There will be a Celebration of Life service held in Jim’s honor on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at the Cremation and Burial Society of Pennsylvania, Inc. (Zimmerman Building), 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109. Visitation 10:00 – 11:00am with service immediately following at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Shoops Cemetery.
