James was an avid golfer and enjoyed numerous other sports. He was a fan of the Phillies and Eagles.
He is survived by his son, Steve and wife Karen; daughter, Sandy; 3 grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
