Jeanette S. Beaver Cleary

Born December 14, 1932, in West Mahanoy Twp., she was daughter of Albert and Mary Beaver.

A kind, loving and caring person, Jeanette was employed by the State Department of Public Instruction before starting her family. She volunteered at the Holy Spirit Hospital for many years and in the store at her complex Bethany Towers. She enjoyed gardening and riding her bike, but she most enjoyed spending time with family and especially her great grandchildren.

Surviving are her 3 sons, Craig (Kathryn) Cleary, Robert (Patrice) Cleary, and Thomas Hare; 3 grandchildren, Katie (Sean) Holden, Thomas (Tiffany) Cleary, and Brian (Jessica) Cleary; 7 great-grandchildren, Sara and Benjamin Holden, Piper and Braxton Cleary, Camden Dietrich, Rosalie Cleary, and Colton Cooper; sisters, Lorayne Hare, Karyn Puka, and Sharron Dentinger; and brother, Jack Beaver.

She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Cleary; and sisters, Dorthy Smith and Lucille Drossoplous.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 22, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at St. John Lutheran Church, 44 West Main Street, Shiremanstown, PA, 17011. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her church at the listed address.
